First day of School in Year 9 in 2010

So today, Was my first day of school in the year 2010 when I'm in Year 9. Wow. I'm getting old. EVERYONE is getting old. Tess is like, in Year 11. Starting IB. Sometimes, it really freaks me out how fast time is like whooshing past. It's almost like the holidays never happened. Although the memories are there, it feels as though they were all compacted into a single week. A part of me is wishing it wasn't over so fast, and another part of me, a tiny part, is I guess, a tiny bit glad that I'm back in school. Mostly only because of my friends and lunchtimes and now FOOD and CERAMICS CLASSES! Math is extremely intimidating. I could tell everyone was extra, really, very, 'omg, serious?' surprised I got into acceleration. I mean, I was too. But well, I think they made a mistake. I feel like I'm not meant to be in this class of geniuses and to-be mathematicians and just girls that are plain smart. They all understand what the teacher is talking about BEFORE he explains. And they use big math words that I'ver never heard of. Great. Maybe I'll somehow catch up. Then again, maybe not. Oh stuff it. Whatever. Science was confusing. All about molecules, atoms, elements, compounds and blah. I thought I got it, then I realized I didn't. Felt stupid for the second time that day. English was alright. Cept that we got homework. We talked about games for the whole lesson. Fun. :0 Lunchtime, Kate, Vicky, Nicole and I walked around looking for Isabel, Jessie and Viv. We didn't find them and we were starving. So, we sat down at a nice spot near the PE centre. And were talking when Nicole suddenly screamed 'OMG!' Vic immediately ran away before she even knew what Nicole was screaming about. It turned out to be a dead bird, which is worthy of her running away, but still. Hahaahha. It was funny though. All together an alright first day at school that passed fast. Though I'm not betting that the rest of the week is gonna pass as quickly. Happy for now. Erica
