Grampians LifeGroup Camp

Caaaamp at Grampians. :) 4 days and 3 nights packed with happy moments. A massive group of friends (kids and adults) sitting around a crackling campfire in the cold under a breathtaking blanket of stars just laughing, talking, singing worship songs. It was nice.. I got to play with younger kids, I love them. They're so easy to be around and please. Give them a piggyback and they like you already. I got to hang out with teenagers around my age. Talk about nothing important, really. Just enjoying each others' company. I even didn't mind the few words with the parents. They're quite nice people. The days were filled with food, hikes and soccer; the nights were all truth or dare and funny performances and heaps of chips and skittles! Speaking of perfomances, when we were split into 3 groups. And I was one of the older ones in mine.. Which meant had to take a leadership role... I hated shouting at people to try to keep them from walking off to do something else. But my motivation was to beat Kendrick's team. Idk why. But I just really didn't want them to win. :) In the end, Megan helped and Denzel was nice. And we improvised most of it at the end anyways. It was a good laugh. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a draw of course. It was kinda expected. But still. There was always that tiny chance that it wouldn't have been. Did I mention I had to lead worship too? It wasn't the best in the whole world.. But I survived. :) My feet were cold under 2 layers of socks at night, but that's a low price for what fun I had. Btw, my new nickname was spoilt rotten because it was what was on one of my shirts. Keisha is now bear. :P Erica
