Tour Guides and Drama

Hi Me yet again. I know you're getting bored of me, but yea... I joined this thing called Tour Guides at school. We are supposed to be these guides with smiles on our friendly faces, bringing "possibly future PLC students and parents' on a tour of all the GOOD spots at our school. Yes, well it was today. And it was just me and Vicky. The rest of them couldn't be bothered. Like me, it's just that I don't think I was thinking straight when I signed up. Okay, fine. It wasn't that bad. So me and Vicky, I mean Vicky and I left early from Chapel and went to the DDT. We had to skip Art... Of ALL the things I could have missed, like, say Math or History or Geography, it just HAD to be Art! Sigh, how unlucky am I? Anyway, people started to come in and this year 10 girl from China came in. She was filling out this form and she asked me, "How do you spell lauguee?" And I was like... Not sure what she was talking about. So I answered, "Err... I'm not sure..." I was sooo embarassed. Great first impression Erica! After that the girl asked one of the teachers there and the teacher said, "Oh, you mean language? L-A-N-G-U-" You get the picture. I was like Oh my gosh... Felt like such an idiot... There was also this little girl, the sister of the year 10 girl. She was adorable!!!! And then we went into the DDT. Before the principle's introduction of PLC, there were 2 PLC girls playing the flute. The little girl frowned, pointed at them and then put her finger on her lips. HAHAHA! She wanted them to stop. lol. Cute! The rest was boring, so yea... Btw, I had to translate some stuff into Chinese for the China people. That's when I found out how much I have forgotten my Chinese. At the end of the tour, they had cookies for morning tea. Notice I use they and not we cos I didn't get any! All of you who know me, must know that this is a massive disappointment for me... No one else was taking any cookies and I felt shy to take one... hehe. That's me! Then we had DRAMA!!!!! First drama lesson ever. It-was-awesome! It was soooo much fun! We played all these random games to warm up. And then we had to do a 15 second performance. Some ppl did the chicken dance and magig tricks and other really random stuff. But we all clapped at the end and we all laughed our heads off. Then we had to pretend a chair was sumthing else. Like Cathrine pretended it was her mother... LOL. And yea. We did miming as well. Altogether a very eventful day at school. On a totally unrelated note, I hate the ppl who started some of the bushfires that killed so many ppl. Stupid idiotic arsonists!!! ARGH! Hope the victims turn out okay... Tired of House rehearsals for house concerts, Cherrycookie
