13th Birthday

So,
On my birthday, we went to Gareth's house for dinner. And omg! My parents got me a CAMERA! I went crazy and took photos of everything. lol. I'll post some. Anyway, you know, at Cayden's house, they have slugs in the garden at night. I know, disgusting. You have to bring a torch and watch where you step, cos you might squish a slug. Which I did the other day... Everyone was like, "Erica! Yuck! You just killed a poor slug."
Pfft. And you know what we did, we caught the slugs, and put them in a box. LOL. It was all Gareth's idea!! And we put like grass in it for them to eat. (Do slugs eat grass??) And we named them: Shrek, Ixus (Gareth named it after my camera... Wth?), Pug the Slug etc. hahahhahaha. I know, we're all weirdos. Observing them is pretty interesting you know! They actually move pretty fast when they try. They're just lazy. Yes, I am still talking about slugs.
Then, after cake, Tessa made everyone play the 'Who knows Erica best game'... Mavis and Martin played too. And you won't believe who won... Gareth did. Seriously... But I guess that since I've known him all my life he shld, but still... Freaky? But he guessed them all anyway. So here are a few
questions, see if YOU can answer them:
Q:What are the first few things she doodles on paper when she is bored?
A: Anime, Teddy Bears. (I know, I am weird and proud of it!)
Q: What is the first thing she looks out for at parks?
A: Climbable Trees.
Q: What is something she likes to stare at at any time?
A: Sky... Q: Fave Food? Fave Sweets?
A: Sushi!! Chocolate. Duh. If you didn't know that, you do NOT know me AT ALL.
There were heaps more, but yeah. Then we played guns! Yet again... But it was fun. Cos now they have those guns that actually shoot bullets. Anyway, Kendrick thought of this battle strategy. So we brought all the pillows out, and everyone hid under them. And it was like a turtle thing. So we couldn't get hit. xD But we had to go home before we could finish the game. We sooo would've won though. :P

Totally perfect family photo! :)

Gareth on drums. My brother. Denzel. Guitar Hero. Extremely fun.

Cayden. xD I think he's eating sumthing.

Omg! They're gonna kill me.

Cayden took that...

lol. Kendrick looks soo hilarious. Tessa is holding a light saber...

Soo tired and grumpy now... Cherrycookie

Busy Holidays

Heyy, Me again. I haven't posted in ages. My excuse is holidays. Busy holidays. I mean, I was at a camp thing from Friday to Monday. I thought it would be really bad... Cos no one was going for the full camp thing. Mavis and Caitlin's family were only going for one day and Gareth and them weren't even going. So we wouldn't know anyone... Well, when we went, at least we knew Elysia and Nathan. But not well. Turned out that the camp was not ALL that bad. I was forced to make friends, which was okay, cos I did. Oooooh! At least I got to play a lot and a LOT of basketball!!! And a bit of soccer too. heehee. But it was really unfair... Cos it was always girls against boys, and Nathan was heaps taller. So he kept stealing the ball from me. Ugh. But I think girls won quite okay. Esther and Elisa were really good shooters. Then, Mavis and Caitlin came, and it was a bit more fun. They had a flying fox there (it wasn't very big, swings are more fun, but it was okay. I guess.) and we did canoeing (that was fun) and there were those ropes. You know, those ropes for training and stuff. Only that was actually a really good one! No one managed the whole thing. You had to get from one side all the way to the other without touching the ground. I went through all excect the last one. :( It was a TIGHTROPE! And you couldn't hold on to ANYTHING. It was just a piece of rope. And guess what! Colin did it. TWICE! Unfair much? And Tessa nearly got to the end too. Christian got to the end, but he cheated. Cos I was like behind him, making sure he didn't fall.. And then we had campfires and an EASTER EGG HUNT! Oooh that was fun. Problem was that the chocolates were all around the big field. And it was sorta sunny that day... So some of them were melted... But still, we got heaps! So overall, it was okay. I have 10 bruises on my legs from the ropes. I am actually NOT exaggerating. One is like 5 inches long. Ouch, I know. Cherrycookie

School...

Yo, Oooh, we're learning about blood in Science now. Isabel and I are like going crazy every Science class. We have this weird thing in common, we love biology. Things to do with blood, genes, DNA, organs... Stuff like that. We like scream and jump up and down during science. And we have these random deep-ish (not really) discussions about like, blood clotting, strokes etc. I know, we are soo weird. Jess and Vic look at us like we're freaks. LOL. But it's really interesting. Jess gave me looked at me even more like I was some kind of weirdo when I said, YAY! when the teacher said we were gonna dissect a sheeps heart. hahahahahaha. So yea... And today, Jessie was Isabel's familiar (something we learnt in English. an animal that follows a person around) And Isabel was my familiar. But in the end I became Isabel's familiar. Jess was a tweeting canary, then she transformed into a wolf... I was a puppy i think. Or duck? Or was it snake? Nevermind. It was random, but fun? I guess. lol. Oooooooooooooh! I can't wait for tomorrow! We have a Geography excursion. To the beach cos we're learning about the coast and stuff, but STILL. Going to the beach on a school day! I LOVE the beach! I got 13 wrong in a 45 word English spelling test, Cherrycookie

Neither Here nor There

Heyy, If you're my age. Do you ever get the feeling that you just don't fit in? Not fit in at school and popular group and stuff... I mean like, other stuff. When it comes to choose between the kids and the teenagers, I get really confused... I want to go play with the kids cos their just soo much fun and sooo much less, serious and 'mature'. They're so happy and you don't feel that they are judging you. At least, that's how I feel. I know, I'm being really childish. Then, I also want to stay with the teenagers. They talk and it's sort of interesting. I learn stuff and it's nice to be with the 'older' ones. Besides, I want to start to fit in with them, cos I will be *sigh* a teenager one day. If I go with the teenagers, the children would think I'm not one of them anymore. They might even be right. ERGH! Sometimes, it really sucks being 12/13 Tommy

Silly Much?

Heyy, Guess what happened this morning... I felt soooo silly and embarrassed. lol. At least Isabel was there with me. So went for Math, which was supposed to be in the computer room, it has been in there for the last few lessons. As we sat there I was wondering if Mr. Taylor was absent because another teacher was there. And then I was thinking, 'That's funny, the people in our class are different...' That was when the teacher started talking, "I want you to start from Task 1 to 3. WHAT???? We had already got to task like 5 and 6??? WHAT??? Isabel asked if we were in the right class and we realized that we weren't... It was a totally DIFFERENT CLASS!!! Me and Isabel half sneaked and half ran out of the class to our NORMAL classroom. *gulp* Whoops! I kept feeling giggled rise in my throat. But when we walked in late, the teacher didn't say anything. huh, he wasn't surprised... I could see Molly smiling when we walked in.... Funny story, Tim Tan

Thinking Back

Hey, I have never ever cried at school, except this once. I don't know why I never cried, it just wasn't right. Like I wasn't supposed to or something. I generally DON'T cry in public full stop. And it's not for the reason it show weakness or sumthing, like they say in those books. At least, I don't think so. Anyway, I remember the time I cried at school quite clearly. It was when I was in Grade 3, school in Malaysia. It was during the week of exams I think, toward the end of the year. I can't recall exactly what happened, but it was a falling out with a friend. My best friend actually. During recess I was leaning against one of the pillars and blinking back tears away. I couldn't talk, cos I knew that if I did, the tears would spill out. There was a group of my other friends surrounding me, trying to comfort me. They were saying that my best friend wasn't really angry with me and stuff. I'm guessing they were probably thinking, "OMG! Erica is crying... She NEVER cries!" Huh, isn't it kinda weird how I never cried about anything else, but I cried about a small falling out with a friend. I didn't cry when I fell down, when I got hit or scolded by the teacher, or anything! Sigh... What does that say about me? One weird little girl. Cherrycookie
